We offer a variety of services to help you get back on the road and on with life.  We offer a wide range of preventative maintenance to car repair service in the Central Kentucky region. Our quality services include oil changes, as well as repair and maintenance of exhaust and mufflers, brakes, tires, wheels, air conditioning, steering and suspension, batteries, CV joints and driveshafts.


Mr. Alley, along with his team of trained professionals are all locally based and support local.  Together our team has a combined 75 years’ experience in the maintenance and repair industry.

The new owner is Keith Alley who retired from Caterpillar® with 40 years in the development and sales of underground mining equipment. Although he doesn’t have a background in auto care, he understands technical service, knows how to treat people, and is committed to providing a quality product at a fair price and stands behind all of his work.
ROY SMITHShop Manager
Roy has nearly 30 years in automotive maintenance and repair. He’s a master mechanic, however his specialty is custom exhaust. He is considered on of the best exhaust craftsman in Central KY. He has lived in the Richmond area for nearly 2 years.
NICK FOSTERStore Manager
Nick has 12 years of professional experience in automotive repair and maintenance, however if that could easily be stated as 20 years if the time spent working with his dad at the Richmond Race Way was included. He has been a life long resident of Madison County, except for the 2 years spent going to college in Florida. He is married with 2 kids and is also a ranking member of the Kentucky Masonic Lodge.
MICHAEL SMITHService Advisor
Michael has been involved in the automotive repair and maintenance field since childhood. He also has experiences in manufacturing and brings other attributes to the business such as quality control and training. He’s lived in the Richmond area for over 6 years.
The youngster of the group, however he has a great deal of auto repair experience. His entire family is involved in automotive mechanics and various types of auto racing. He is a life long resident of the Richmond area.

  • Auto Vitals. We keep in communication with our customers after they drop their car off, as we diagnose, repair and complete service, so taking care of your car has never been easier or faster.

  • Warranty Program. Our National Warranty Program Supported by the Nationwide 800+ Meineke locations.


  • Tablets:  Each technician is assigned a tablet. Work orders are wirelessly communicated with specific customer identified issues and a platform to conduct a 23 point digital inspection.

  • Digital Inspections:  this allows the technician to take photos and videos of your vehicle during the inspection process. These are shared with you via email or text in a simple inspection sheet.

  • Educational videos can be included in the customer report that provide visuals and graphics on answering the following questions:

    • What is this particular service about?
    • Why should I have it done?
    • What happens if I don’t do it now?

Digital Shop – AutoVitals

The Richmond Meineke’s long term goal is to have a total Digital Shop. These platforms are typically an integrated tool set that will boost productivity of technicians and service writers, and improve the overall customer experience. Some of the key components of the digital shop are digital inspection, digital work flow management, service advisor command station, automated status updates, automatic status updates to the customers as their vehicles move through the work flow steps and educational videos. Communications are also automatically sent to customers to remind them of upcoming vehicle service intervals and appointments.

As the first step into the digital shop world the Richmond Meineke has implemented a very simplistic version of AutoVitals. This  version is customer facing with the emphasis on digital inspections, customer feedback, customer education  and preventative maintenance schedule updates and notifications.

*As we become more versed in the technology and the technology proves to provide customers with the desired communications, education and convenience, additional operational steps will be introduced into the digital platfrom.


Brought my 2007 Trailblazer in for a loud exhaust leak and they did a wonderful job. Guys, this is a new owner and a whole new revamped business, the new owner is very friendly and courteous and his shop has totally changed for the good so don’t hesitate to give Richmond KY’s Meineke another try, and I think you will be glad you did 🙂
